Luca Bogoni is an art director, graphic designer and illustrator. His Berlin-based studio experiments with visual communications tools, blending artisan media with technology, and distilling a clear, natural identity for each project. Twin crushes on paper and color lead the studio to always-new combinations of hand-typography, illustration, and photography.
Luca's clients include an international cast of bicycle makers, theaters, auctioneers, musicians, festivals and exhibitions. He creates
custom edition Moleskine notebooks for organizations like MoMA, Target, the Philip Johnson Glass House, and Woodstock anniversary, taking each as an opportunity to devise new solutions. In past years, Luca co-ran
ZA!revue, an open-source, collaborative and purposefully low-budget magazine project, comprising digital and analog. Za! took form in a printed and online fanzine, but also in stickers, exhibitions, workshops and partnerships with other 'zines.
ADC Germany and the
100 Best Posters (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) have recognized Luca’s work, which has also been published in
Novum, Sushi, and
Abitare. Some of his posters are part of the collection of the
Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich.
